About the Artist

Jeff Walker

Every piece I create begins with understanding — understanding the vision, the body, and the story you want to tell. My work draws from wildlife observation, fantasy realms, and the occult, rendered through vintage color palettes and Art Nouveau sensibilities.

I build each tattoo on a bold foundation designed to complement the shape and contour of your body, using strategic shadow and color layering that will look incredible for decades to come.

The Process

01

Consultation

We start with a conversation. Share your vision, references, and the story you want told. I'll discuss placement, sizing, and how to make the piece work with your body.

Every project begins with a live, in-person meeting. Jeff walks you through his process, discusses your vision, and talks through design direction. Reference images, placement ideas, and any inspiration you have are welcome. Photos of the tattoo area are taken during this visit to inform the design phase. A deposit is required at this stage to secure your first session.

02

Design

I create a custom design based on our consultation. Every piece is original — drawn specifically for you, your body, and your story.

Body composition plays a major role — placement, sizing, and flow are carefully considered to complement your anatomy. Jeff designs each piece to work with the natural contours of your body, ensuring the tattoo reads well from every angle and ages gracefully over time. You’ll receive previews and have the opportunity to provide feedback before anything is finalized.

03

Refinement

We review the design together and refine until it's exactly right. This is collaborative — your input shapes the final piece.

Jeff takes a layered approach to tattooing. Foundational colors and structure are laid down first, then the piece heals before returning for additional depth and detail. This method allows for greater accuracy, richer color saturation, and dimension that isn’t possible in a single pass. Final sizing is confirmed on your body with a stencil placement before any ink.

04

Session

The tattoo itself. I work with precision and patience, building layers of shadow and color that create depth and longevity.

Arrive rested, hydrated, and well-fed. Breaks are always available. Larger pieces may span multiple sessions — we’ll plan this in advance so you know what to expect.

05

Aftercare

Detailed aftercare instructions to protect your investment. I follow up to ensure proper healing and I'm always available for touch-ups.

Healing takes 2–4 weeks. Avoid sun exposure, pools, and excessive moisture. Follow-up touch-ups are complimentary within the first 6 months after healing.

Testimonials

Jeff turned my rough idea into something beyond what I imagined. The detail in the featherwork is insane — people stop me constantly to ask about it.
Marcus R.
I've been tattooed by artists all over the country. Jeff is different. He listens, he understands anatomy, and he builds pieces that flow with your body.
Sarah K.
The consultation process alone sold me. Jeff spent an hour understanding what I wanted before picking up a pencil. Three years later, my piece still looks freshly done.
David L.
As someone with anxiety about getting tattooed, Jeff made the entire experience comfortable and collaborative. He checked in throughout and the result is stunning.
Alex T.
I came in wanting a small piece and left with a vision for a full sleeve. Not because of upselling — because Jeff showed me possibilities I hadn't considered.

Jeff specializes in wildlife, fantasy, occult, and Art Nouveau tattoos with vintage color palettes and bold foundational linework. He works in both color and black & grey. Every piece is custom-drawn — no flash, no flash-style work copied from other artists.

Eat a full meal 1–2 hours before your session to keep your blood sugar stable. Stay hydrated and get a good night's sleep. Wear or bring comfortable, loose clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Come rested and ready — long sessions are easier when you're feeling your best.

Jeff provides detailed aftercare instructions at the end of every session. In general: keep the tattoo clean and moisturized, avoid direct sunlight and submerging in water for 2–3 weeks, and don't pick or scratch the healing skin. Proper aftercare protects your investment — a well-healed tattoo looks better and lasts longer. Touch-ups are available if needed after full healing.

Yes. Cover-up work is considered on a case-by-case basis. Not every existing tattoo can be covered effectively — it depends on the size, placement, ink saturation, and the design you have in mind. Send a photo of the existing tattoo and your cover-up concept through the contact form and Jeff will assess the options during consultation.
